Kurukshetra university’s women scientists honoured for their works

The Women in STEM (WIS) Forum of Kurukshetra University organised a felicitation ceremony on Friday at the university’s Senate Hall to honour outstanding women achievers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva congratulated the awardees and remarked that women scientists and researchers are shaping the future of innovation in India through dedication, creativity and excellence.

WIS Forum Coordinator Prof Anita Bhatnagar shared that Dr Neera Raghav from the Department of Chemistry was honoured for the Highest Impact Research Paper, while Dr Anita Yadav from the Department of Biotechnology received the award for maximum number of citations. Dr Parinam Anuradha from the Mechanical Engineering Department, UIET, was recognised for securing the maximum granted patents among faculty members.

Research scholars Chanchal Vashisth from Department of Chemistry, Anshu from Zoology and Prabhjot Kaur from Engineering and Technology were also felicitated for their research work. Dr. Divya Gupta from the Department of Physics received appreciation for her significant research contributions.
