Chandigarh, February 16

The Haryana Labour Department today set up a central processing centre (CPC) at the ESI Healthcare Directorate in Panchkula.

The centre is aimed at revolutionising the way the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board handles worker registrations, benefit applications and related schemes. With the opening of this centre, the Labour Department now operates two fully functional CPCs, located in Hisar and Panchkula. Additionally, plans are underway to launch another CPC in Sonepat district soon.

The primary objective behind establishing such CPCs is to improve efficiency and transparency of the registration and scheme application processes.
