INLD national president Abhay Chautala launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP government in the state, alleging that law and order in Haryana has collapsed. The government has failed on every front. He also accused the Congress of failing to play the role of a strong Opposition.

Chautala was addressing a series of public meetings in Nilokheri, Karnal, Gharaunda, and Indri constituencies, where he extended invitations to people for the “Samman Diwas Rally” to be held in Rohtak on September 25 to mark the birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal.

Chautala claimed the rally would be the largest ever in the country, with lakhs of people, including participants from India and abroad, expected to gather to pay tributes.

Accusing the BJP and the Congress of betraying public trust, Chautala said, “The BJP government has no interest in public welfare and has failed on every front. The Congress too has failed in its role as an Opposition. Former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda misled Rahul Gandhi and ensured BJP’s victory by giving tickets to weak candidates under the BJP pressure and the fear of the ED.”

Calling for political change, Chautala asserted, “The people want change and you must play an active role in it. The next government will certainly be of the INLD, working in the interest of the public by following the principles of Chaudhary Devi Lal and Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala.”

INLD state president Rampal Majra also addressed the gathering, reminding workers of the “sarkar aapke dwar” programme once launched by former CM OP Chautala, pledging that the party would work with the same commitment.

During the meetings, Abhay Chautala and Rampal Majra were honoured with bouquets, turbans and mementoes.
