The lintel (concrete slab) of an under-construction shop collapsed in Old Hamida Colony of Yamunanagar on Thursday afternoon. Three labourers reportedly sustained minor injuries in the incident.

A car and a tea stall were damaged due to the debris of the lintel.

After receiving information, Jaswant Singh, In-charge of the Hamida police post, reached the spot and started investigating of the case.

According to information, labourers had laid about 80 per cent of the lintel when it collapsed at 3.15 pm, reportedly due to a wooden support beam shaking. “There is no report of any casualty in the accident. An investigation is being conducted,” the Hamida police post In-charge said.
