An uninsulated power cable passing through an electricity pole poses a threat to residents on the Sabji Mandi chowk flyover in Hisar. The authorities should immediately take a note of the issue and get the wire covered. A fatal mishap can take place in case someone accidentally touches the wire on this busy spot.

The sewerage system in Jind town has been crying for attention. Overflowing sewage irks local residents and leads to spread of diseases. No action has been taken despite repeated requests. The matter should be resolved at the earliest.

Road to Model Town in pathetic condition
The main entry road to Model Town from the Assandh road has been badly damaged for a long time, due to which commuters face inconvenience. Big potholes on the road often lead to accidents. Local civic body officials should get the potholes filled and the road recarpeted. Rachit, Panipat
