Lookout circular issued against Nafe Singh Rathi last year
Jhajjar, February 26
INLD state chief Nafe Singh Rathi was a well-known political figure. He served as chairman of the Bahadurgarh MC twice and was elected MLA from Bahadurgarh in 1996 and 2000. He unsuccessfully contested Assembly elections from the same constituency and tried his luck in the 2009 Lok Sabha poll.
Last year, the police had issued a lookout circular for Rathi in connection with the suicide case of former minister Mange Ram Rathi’s son Jagdish. Jagdish’s son had got a case registered against Rathi and five others, alleging that the accused had grabbed their shop in 2019 and were threatening to grab their land. Rathi later got anticipatory bail.
