Mahapanchayat’s women wing prez lends support to Cong’s Ashok Arora
National president of women wing of Sarvajatiya Sarvakhap Mahapanchayat Santosh Dahiya today extended support to Congress candidate from Thanesar Ashok Arora.
Speaking to mediapersons, Santosh Dahiya said, “Crime against women is on the rise, and farmers are struggling to get their genuine demands fulfilled. We will meet people to raise public issues with them and urge them to support Arora to get the problems of Thanesar resolved.”
Dahiya, who contested the 2019 election on the JJP ticket from Ladwa, said, “We are not extending support to any political party, but we are extending support to Ashok Arora because he is a social person and he remains in touch with the people of Thanesar. We have decided to support Ashok Arora and will campaign for him. If a good and social candidate from any party from any other constituency also approaches us, we will extend our support to that candidate too.”
On the occasion, Ashok Arora, said, “We are grateful to Santosh Dahiya for extending her support. We have been getting support from all sections of society and it will further give a boost to our campaign. I assure them that I will raise the issues of Thanesar in the Haryana Assembly and get the problems resolved.”
