The festival of Makar Sankranti has brought joy to Komal of Babra Mohalla in Rohtak city, Pinky of Sitaram Gate in Jhajjar city and their families on Tuesday. Both women gave birth to babies at the Civil Hospital.
While Komal welcomed her first child, a son, Pinki has been blessed with a second daughter. Both were overjoyed that their children were born on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti.
Komal’s husband, Praveen Jaiswal, who does a private job, shared that this Tuesday brought double the happiness. "Not only it is Makar Sankranti, but God has also blessed us with a son on this special day," he said. The couple has yet to decide on the name for their son but plans to discuss it soon and choose a meaningful name.
Praveen expressed that their dream is for their son to grow up to be a good citizen and contribute to the development of society and the nation. "He will choose his own path, and as parents, it is our duty to support him in fulfilling his dreams and guide him along the way," he added.
Meanwhile, Pinky expressed her joy at the birth of their second daughter on Makar Sankranti. "We will consult a Pandit ( priest) before naming her," she said, adding that she hopes her daughter will pursue her own dreams, whether in education, sports, or another field. "I will give her complete freedom to choose her career," Pinki emphasised.
When asked about their elder daughter, Pinky shared, "I want her to pursue a computer course and work in a reputed institute." Pinky’s husband also does private work.
