In the recent years, there has been a rise in the number of stray cattle in Narwana. Residents have often complained that these animals roam freely on roads and streets, thus posing a significant risk to the lives of commuters and pedestrians. As a result, there has been a rise in the number of accidents here. The local administration should at least ensure that all main roads and highways are cattle-free in order to minimise the risk of mishaps. Ramesh Gupta, Narwana

The authorities concerned should take strict action against those dumping garbage in the open and ensure that the accumulated waste is removed at the earliest. Ashok Kumar, Sonepat

Recarpet dug-up roads in Rohtak

The persistent digging up of roads by the Rohtak Municipal Corporation and no prompt reconstruction leaves the city residents troubled as it disrupts the vehicular and pedestrian movement. These roads should be dug up only when the MC is in a position to reconstruct these. This would ensure minimal disruptions and smoother transportation.
