Man arrested for demanding money from transporter

As per a police spokesman, complainant Harish Kumar of Bawal town runs a transport office in Rewari city and his vehicles and buses are used to transport staff for companies. The complainant said on October 26, a man, along with three others, carrying gun-like weapons came to his office in a Scorpio vehicle.
Harish alleged that the man threatened him, saying that his buses should not work for the companies from the next day. If he wanted his ferry staff, he would have to pay a monthly amount to him, the man allegedly told Harish.
The transporter was warned of dire consequences if he failed to pay money every month. After this, all accused left the place. A case was registered at Model Town police station. Taking swift action, the police team arrested the main accused within a few hours. Others will also be arrested soon, claimed the spokesman.
