Man arrested with 14.46 grams of heroin

A team of the Rohtak unit of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) has arrested a drug smuggler and seized 14.46 grams of heroin from his possession.

The bureau’s Rohtak unit in-charge Inspector Rakesh said the drug smuggler was arrested by a team led by Sub-Inspector Jaiveer.

The arrested person was identified as Salender, alias Surender, a resident of Garhi Mohalla, he said. A case was registered against him under various sections of the NDPS Act, he said.

A police spokesperson has appealed to the general public that if anyone sees drug trafficking anywhere, he/she should immediately report the matter on toll-free number 1933, online complaint portal https://ncbmanas.gov.in and Haryana NCB’s toll-free number 90508-91508. The name and address of the informer would be kept completely confidential, he said.
