Man gets 20-yr RI for raping minor

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Ashwani Kumar on Tuesday sentenced a convict to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 40,000 on him in the case of raping a 13-year-old girl. According to the police, on December 6, 2021, a complaint was received at the Badshahpur police station regarding a 13-year-old girl being raped after being lured.

The police had arrested the suspect, identified as Ram Kripal, a native of Baramaau village in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
