The CIA-2 unit of Kurukshetra police arrested a Kurukshetra resident with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Arjun.

A police spokesman said a raid was conducted following an input regarding the presence of a man with an illegal weapon near Baazigar Dharmashala. A case was registered under the Arms Act. The accused was produced before a court, which sent him to a two-day police remand.
