“I asked the officials concerned and park associations to keep the parks green, to maintain cleanliness and to make the light system better, so that the people of the area can take a walk in the park comfortably,” said the Mayor.

She also inspected the community centre of Sector 17 and instructed the officials of the MCYJ to provide better facilities for the people.

She said work was being done to make every park of the MCYJ green and beautiful.

She further said that park associations and resident welfare associations were being given maintenance expenses to make the parks beautiful.

“We are making efforts to make every park of the twin cities beautiful and to provide all kinds of facilities in these parks. The general public should also cooperate in making the parks beautiful. They should not throw garbage in the parks instead plant saplings in the parks that have less greenery,” said Bahamani.
