Chandigarh: Transfers and postings of officers and officials engaged in the conduct of bypoll for ward No. 34 of the Gurugram MC and ward No. 7 of the Karnal MC, to be held on October 3, have been banned. A spokesperson said if the transfer was necessary, prior nod of the State Election Commission must be obtained. TNS
