MC chief Pradeep Dahiya is new Hisar DC, to add to his other duties
Hisar, March 3
MC Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya will now hold the charge of the Deputy Commissioner after the transfer of Uttam Singh in a bureaucratic reshuffle yesterday.
Dahiya, a 2013-batch IAS officer, is already holding the charges of the Administrator of the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), and Additional Director of Urban Estate.
Meanwhile, sources said several matters, including farmers’ issues, needed to be resolved in the district. Farmers have been holding a ‘pucca morcha’ at the mini-secretariat to demand the fulfilment of their demands.
Besides, there are several problems in residential localities of the city, which require coordination between the Municipal Corporation and the HSVP and Dahiya holds the charge of both bodies.
