MC Commissioners to serve as ex-officio additional CEOs in MDAs

The Haryana Government has designated the Commissioners of the Municipal Corporations of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonepat, Panchkula and Hisar as ex-officio Additional Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of their respective Metropolitan Development Authorities.

An order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on Tuesday.

In a related move, the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Manesar, has been designated as ex-officio Additional Chief Executive Officer-II of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) with immediate effect.

The notification clarifies that the existing Additional Chief Executive Officers of the Metropolitan Development Authorities will continue to hold their present posts.
