Rohtak: MDU bags energy conservation award
Rohtak: Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has bagged top honours in the state-level Energy Conservation Award, under the category of institutions and organisations above 500 KW for the year 2022-23, for promotion of energy conservation activities on the campus. The New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Haryana, has awarded MDU for its energy conservation drive. MDU Registrar Gulshan Lal Taneja received the award from Haryana Power Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala at an event organised in Chandigarh.
Job fair on KU campus
Kurukshetra: A job fair was organised by the Music and Dance Department of Kurukshetra University (KU), wherein officials from a school at Kaithal visited the department and interviewed the final semester students. Aarti Sheokand, head of the department, said that nearly 20 students appeared in the interviews, out of which seven were shortlisted.

Sonepat: Pooja, a research scholar at the Department of Chemistry, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, has got an opportunity to conduct research at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, under the guidance of the renowned scientist Dr Rainier Haag. She will receive a monthly scholarship of 1,468 euros during this period. Congratulating Pooja, DCRUST Vice-Chancellor Shri Prakash Singh said knowledge knows no geographical boundaries and always grows through sharing.
