The viscera examination report of nine deceased victims has revealed that methanol alcohol was mixed with liquor that led to several deaths in Yamunanagar district in November. The hooch tragedy had claimed 18 lives at Mandebari, Panjeto Ka Majra, Phunsgarh, Saran and Manglaur villages of the district. Besides, two persons had died in Ambala district after consuming spurious alcohol. As per information, seven of 18 persons were cremated without a post-mortem in Yamunanagar.
