Mewat Development Board schools now under Edu Dept

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday announced that schools run under the Mewat Development Board will now be run by the Education Department of the Haryana Government.

Teachers and other employees working in these schools, who fulfils the eligibility as per the service rule of the state government, will be adjusted against the posts lying vacant in the Mewat cadre.

Along with this, teachers and other staff engaged on contract basis will also be adjusted against contractual posts.

Teachers working on the post of librarian in Mewat Model Schools will be adjusted against the post of TGT Art. Teachers with degrees from deemed universities will be kept on adhoc basis on the same post till the decision of the court.

Besides, teachers and other staff will get promotion as per the service rules fixed by the education department. Teachers of Mewat Model Schools will be able to get transferred within Mewat cadre only.

Seniority will also be given to teachers as per the service rule of the Mewat cadre.

The Haryana Civil Service Rule will be applicable on all employees.

The employees working on contract will remain on contract.
