Haryana Co-operations, Jails, Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr Arvind Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of the Shikra Tourist Complex at Asakhera village in Sirsa district on Saturday. He reviewed the facilities and instructed the centre manager to ensure visitors faced no inconvenience. He emphasised improving food quality and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Sharma visited the centre while returning from former Chief Minister OP Chautala’s cremation. On his arrival, he was welcomed by Manager Nand Kishore and the staff. The minister inspected the rooms, kitchen and other facilities at the tourist centre.

He directed the manager to treat the visitors with courtesy and provide all necessary services. Sharma warned the staff that negligence would not be tolerated. He also assessed the centre’s need for additional resources and promised considering the staff’s request for a banquet hall.
