To implement the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, a state-level meeting is slated to be held under the chairmanship of Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) in Murthal on February 19.

Vice-Chancellors of 15 universities of the state are expected to take part in the meeting and they will give their representation over the implementation of NEP-2020. The university administration has formed eight committees to make the programme successful.

Vice-Chancellor Shri Prakash Singh said that the meeting would also be attended by Kailash Chandra Sharma, Chairman, Haryana Higher Education Council; Vineet Garg, Additional Principal Secretary to Higher Education and Technical Education; Prabhjot Singh, Director General of Technical Education; and Rahul Hooda, Director General of Higher Education.

The Vice-Chancellors of 15 universities of the state will give presentations of their respective universities regarding the implementation of NEP-2020 at the meeting.

Vice-Chancellor Shri Prakash Singh said the immediate priority areas for higher education in Haryana would be discussed to implement the recommendations of the National Education Policy-2020.
