Yamunanagar, August 9
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar today inaugurated and laid foundation stone of development works worth Rs 3.55 crore in Jagadhri Assembly constituency.
He inaugurated Sankhera village-Jatheri village road, which has been strengthened at a cost of Rs 47 lakh, Changnauli village-Sankhera village road constructed at a cost of Rs 48 lakh, Sankhera village-Dariyapur village road built at a cost of Rs 84 lakh and Ramkheri village to Taranwala village road strengthened at a cost of Rs 94 lakh.
He laid stone of road widening projects from Agrasen Chowk to City Marble and from Agrasen Chowk to Tejli Timber in Ward-5 of Jagadhri. These works would cost Rs 82 lakh.
Gujjar and Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Das Arora laid the stone of a multi-storey building to be built at Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School of Camp Colony in Yamunanagar at a cost of Rs 4.25 crore. They also inaugurated a basketball ground built in the school at a cost of Rs 5 lakh.
