The Nuh police have booked five persons, including a woman, in relation to the gang-rape a 15-year-old girl, who was abducted from her village in the Ferozpur Jhirka area.
An FIR has been registered at the Ferozpur Jhirka sadar police station in this regard.
According to a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, the accused abducted his sister on November 2, after which three of them gang-raped her.
On November 3, the accused left her on the village’s outskirts, and fled.
The victim then informed her family of the incident.
The girl’s family has alleged that three young men gang-raped the girl, while the other accused helped lure her away from home.
“After recording the statement of the victim, an FIR was registered against Maqsood, Mausam, Kamru, Nazir and Warisa under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act. We are raiding the hideouts of the accused to arrest them,” said the Investigating Officer, Sub-Inspector Nikhil.
