A team of CIA-I has apprehended a minor boy and allegedly recovered an illegal weapon and a live cartridge from his possession.

A case has been registered against the minor boy under the Arms Act in this connection. Varinder Walia, CIA-I in-charge, said they got information that a youth was roaming near Buria town with an illegal weapon.

He said immediately a team was formed, which apprehended the boy. He further said during interrogation, an illegal country-made pistol and a live cartridge were recovered from his possession.
