Samalkha: Missing girl's body found

The body of a seven-year-old girl, who was missing since Sunday from Manana village of Samalkha, was found on Wednesday evening from the bushes near the power house on Khalila road.
SP Shashank Kumar Sawan had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information about the killer.
The father of the girl, in his complaint to Samalkha police on Sunday, said there was a ‘bhandara’ in his village on Sunday and the girl had gone missing since 4 pm.
The family along with villagers carried out searches over the past three days and found the body near the village stadium on Khalila road.
The police found injuries on the girl’s head and blood stains on her face. Some injections were also found lying nearby, sources said.
