Members of the Agarwal community organised a felicitation ceremony at Agrasen Bhawan, Sector 8 to honour newly elected Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand and councillors. The event was held as part of the ‘Nav Samvat 2082’ celebrations.
Mayor Renu Bala Gupta expressed her gratitude to the Agarwal community for their unwavering support, assuring the attendees that she, along with MLA Jagmohan Anand and all newly elected councillors, would work diligently for the development of Karnal.
“We will fulfil the expectations of the people and remain committed to public service, following the principles of Maharaja Agrasen," she said.
She emphasised that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Manohar Lal and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the government was working in alignment with the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas".
MLA Jagmohan Anand acknowledged the significant support the Agrawal community had extended to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the municipal elections. "Fifteen of our councillors have been elected, and together with Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, we will ensure development in all 20 wards of Karnal. The city will witness historic progress," he stated.
BJP district president Praveen Lather, former BJP district officiating president Brij Gupta, Taraori MC Chairman Virender Bansal, Gharaunda MC Chairman Happy Luck Gupta, Karnal Municipal Councillors Sudesh Rani, Baby Pal, Bhupender Notna, Subhash Kamboj, Joginder Sharma, Sankalp Bhandari, Sanjeev Mehta, Monik Garg, Rani Dhanak, Harjeet Singh Laddi, Sudhir Yadav, Rajesh Aghi, Mamta Saini, Sujata Arora, Amritlal Joshi, and other prominent people of the community including Ramesh Gupta, Gautam Jain, Sunil Gupta, Raj Kumar Goyal, Rajinder Gupta, Pankil Goyal and others were present there.
