Model Divya Pahuja shot in head from point blank range, reveals post mortem

Model Divya Pahuja was shot in the head from a point blank range. The revelation was made in the post mortem of the deceased model carried out in Hisar’s Agroha Medical College.

A bullet was removed from the head, while the viscera has been preserved for further investigation.

Meanwhile, Gurugram police SIT investigating the murder case has sent two pistols recovered from the house of key accused and hotel owner Abhijeet and a pistol belonging to his arrested PSO Parvesh for forensic examination. Police suspect one of the three guns could have been used in the murder. The weapons were recovered by the SIT following the questioning of PSO Pravesh, a resident of Rohtak.

Parvesh has been sent to judicial custody.

Pahuja’s body was found stuck in a water channel in Fatehabad’s Tohana a week after the murder. The police found the body after questioning a co-accused Balraj Gill who was nabbed from Kolkata.

Gill’s associate Ravi Banga who helped dump the body continues to be on run. The duo has dumped the body into the Bhakra Canal near Patiala.
