Political bigwigs, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, chief ministers of BJP-ruled states, besides Sikh Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Ravneet Bittu, will spice up the saffron party's election campaign for the October 5 assembly polls in Haryana.
Besides, names of BJP's who’s who figure in the list of 40 star campaigners which was released by the party today.
Union ministers JP Nadda (also BJP chief), Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Chauhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Piyush Goyal, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Manohar Lal Khattar, Rao Inderjit Singh and Krishan Pal Gurjar will be among the star campaigners.
Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states--Yogi Adityanath (UP), Bhajan Lal Sharma (Rajasthan), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand) and Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam)--have specially been roped in to woo the voters.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli along with senior state leaders like Sudha Yadav, Kiran Chaudhry, Dharambir Singh, Naveen Jindal, Ram Chander Jangra, Ashok Tanwar, Kuldeep Bishnoi, besides wrestler Babita Phogat, have been included in the list.
BJP MP Hema Malini and actor-singer and MP Manoj Tiwari will add glamour to the poll campaign.
Meawnhile, other star campaigners include Smriti Irani, Vasundhra Raje Scindia, Satish Poonia, Biplab Dev, Surinder Singh Nagar, Anurag Thakur, Jairam Thakur, Diya Kumari and Sanjeev Baliyan.
