There is not even a single residential or commercial area where one can’t spot a troop of monkeys roaming around. People have erected iron grills around their roofs and balconies to protect themselves. It appears, monkeys are free to roam anywhere but people are left imprisoned in their own homes. People can’t go out for morning or evening walks and children too are scared to play in streets. The administration only talks about catching these monkeys but never takes serious steps to do it. The government should do something to protect people from monkeys.

Prevent burning of industrial, chemical waste in Faridabad

Unchecked burning of waste related to industries and chemicals in the industrial area of Sarurpur in the NIT zone of the city has been polluting the air.Though the burning activity has been going on for the past few months, the administration and the authorities of the Pollution Control Board seem to be sleeping, as no action has been taken against the offenders so far. While Faridabad has already been in the list of most polluted cities in the country, it is a pity that the officials have been busy in making tall claims of taking measures on paper only and have failed to do a ground reality check.
