Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said 1,100 doctors were appointed in the state over the past year, and many more would be recruited in the coming days as the government is committed to providing better healthcare services to the people.
She was responding to a question on the shortage of doctors in government health institutions across the state. The minister was here to attend a programme at the Kisan Vigyan Kendra, where PM Narendra Modi’s release of the 21st instalment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi was telecast live.
Arti said Rs 14.88 crore was transferred into the bank accounts of 74,389 farmers in Jhajjar district.
“The Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has boosted the confidence of farmers. The state government is implementing all Central government schemes effectively across the district,” she said.
“Mechanisms have been strengthened to ensure that every eligible farmer in the state receives the benefits of these schemes without any obstacles,” she added.
