Hisar Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Neeraj has granted administrative approval for several development works, to be carried out at a cumulative cost of Rs 6.15 crore. Fifteen projects in different parts of the town — including three in Ward No. 1, three in Ward No. 2, two each in Ward No. 15, 16, 19, and 20 and one in Ward No. 18 — were approved by the MC Commissioner.

An MC spokesperson said work would begin on these projects soon, once the tendering process started.

The spokesperson said approved projects included the construction of concrete (CC) and interlocking paver block (IPB) roads in several localities.

Mayor Praveen Popli said works were being carried out across the town, ensuring that no ward was left behind in development. He said all residents would be provided better basic infrastructure and amenities. He said efforts were being made to accelerate urban development through comprehensive and balanced initiatives across wards.
