Three girl students of class IX of a government school at Gurgaon village have lodged a complaint with the Block Education Officer (BEO), accusing the music teacher of molestation. They alleged that he would message and call the girls late at night, and threaten to fail them if they complained.
The BEO, Sudesh Raghav, has called the principal, along with the report of the school internal committee in the matter. “I received a complaint today, which was filed by three students against the music teacher, Rinku Kohli. This is a sensitive matter and I have asked the principal to submit the report of the school internal committee tomorrow. Action will be taken if the teacher is found guilty,” said Raghav.
In their complaint to the BEO, the students claimed that the teacher used to tell them on the phone that he had many girlfriends. Parents alleged that the teacher made the calls at night under the influence of alcohol.
