The pavilion, set up by the Department of Information, Public Relations, and Languages, Haryana, showcased not only the state’s historic landmarks but also its rich cultural heritage, according to a spokesperson for the district administration.

Leading companies and prominent personalities from the fields of art, culture, media, film and technology from various countries participated in the event, the spokesperson added.

“The pavilion prominently featured key historical sites from Narnaul, including Jal Mahal, Mahendragarh Fort and Rai Bal Mukund’s Chhatta, and video displays of the Dhosi Hills. The exhibits attracted interest from leading companies,” he said.

In addition to heritage displays, the pavilion also showcased glimpses of Haryanvi films such as Jhankadar Kangna, which was shot in the district.

The department aims to promote Mahendragarh as an emerging destination for filmmakers, highlighting its diverse and scenic locations, the spokesperson added.

He said the event was expected to boost Haryana’s tourism sector and create new opportunities for local artistes and filmmakers.

As part of the summit, a national conference of community radio centres from across the country was held at the venue.

Representing Mahendragarh district, Aravali FM 90.40 — the district’s only community radio station, operated by the Southern Haryana Cultural Forum under an Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department scheme — was specially invited to participate in the event.
