National kabaddi tourney under way in Bhiwani
The kabaddi tournament of the 68th National School Games (Under-19) being held in the Bhim Stadium organised by the Haryana Education Department saw two contests on the second day on Sunday.
In the first match, the girls of Tamil Nadu defeated the Uttarakhand team by a margin of 44-15 points.
The boys’ team of the CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSEWSO) defeated the Gujarat team by 61-14 points to register a win in the league match. The games, being organised under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India, has teams from various states in the country and education bodies participating in the event.
