Nayab Saini listens to 'Mann Ki Baat' in Hisar

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi this year’s festivals were celebrated with greater enthusiasm and purpose, as people embraced eco-friendly celebrations and promoted the use of swadeshi products.

The Chief Minister was listening to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in Hisar on Sunday. Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Ranbir Gagwa was also present.

Highlighting the Prime Minister’s address, Saini said October 31 marked the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a national icon who played a pivotal role in uniting the country. He appealed to the people, especially the youth, to actively participate in the ‘Run for Unity’ which was being organised nationwide on this day, a true tribute to Sardar Patel and a symbol of national integration.

The Chief Minister also said as mentioned in today’s ‘Mann ki baat episode’ by the Prime Minister that November 7, 2025 would mark 150 years of India’s national song ‘Vande Mataram’, composed 150 years ago and sung by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore in 1896. He said this milestone should be celebrated with pride and passed on as an enduring inspiration for future generations.

He further said through ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister connected with crores of people every month and highlighted inspiring stories from across India. He said in today’s episode, the Prime Minister appreciated the youth and people who were promoting Sanskrit Language, innovation and cultural preservation across the country. “Everyone should draw inspiration from such examples and strive to contribute meaningfully to society,” he added.

The CM said with collective efforts of all, the vision of a Viksit Bharat 2047 would surely be achieved and fulfilled. He also extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparv.
