Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Ajmer Singh Malik, Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, organised the NCC selection process for the 2024-25 session. The process was conducted under the guidance of Colonel Gyan Prakash Pandey, Commanding Officer of the 3 Haryana Girls Battalion, NCC, Hisar. Battalion representatives, including Subedar Mahipal, Havildar Rajkumar, Havildar Sandeep, BHM Sahiram, and Havildar Prabhu, were present to oversee the selection.

First-year university students were assessed on various criteria, including running, height, medical examination, physical fitness and a written test. During the process, Subedar Mahipal also educated the students on the importance of NCC, as well as the value of unity and discipline. A total of 80 university students participated in the selection process, demonstrating good performances to secure their places. The selection was carried out with complete transparency, guided by NCC caretaker professor Rachna Ahlawat and NCC trainer Sonika from the university.
