The National Commission for Women (NCW) has issued notices to Swaraj India leader Yogendra Yadav and BKU Ekta Ugrahan president Joginder Singh Ugrahan over reports of sexual assault on the woman activist at the Tikri border protest site. The NCW has come across media reports of the sexual assault. It is being alleged that Yadav and other protesters of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha were aware of the assault committed upon the girl, but, unfortunately, did not inform the police about the incident. It has sent a notice to Yadav, seeking an explanation for the delay in informing the police about the incident. — PTI
