Newly appointed Mayor Suman Behmani meets CM Nayab Saini
After the historic victory of the BJP in the elections of the civic bodies, the newly appointed Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Suman Behmani on Thursday met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at his residence in Chandigarh.
She greeted the Chief Minister and congratulated him on the victory. On the occasion, Saini said the support given by the public to the BJP in elections, was a result of development works and good governance.
He said the triple engine government would give new speed to the development of the state.
“In these elections, the public has given the third engine government to the cities for the nonstop development of the state with a huge majority,” said Chief Minister Nayab Saini.
He expressed hope that the leadership of the newly elected civic bodies would provide more speed to the development works and public services in accordance with the public aspirations.
Newly appointed Mayor Suman Behmani said lotus had bloomed in the state under the leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
Expressing gratitude for the immense support and love given by the public, she said, “I will serve the residents of the twin cities of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri and rural areas falling under the Municipal Corporation with full loyalty and dedication. I will make every possible effort to live up to the expectations of the public,” said Behmani.
She said their aim was to make Yamunanagar-Jagadhari a developed, clean and modern city.
She further said that concrete steps would be taken to strengthen the infrastructure in the Municipal Corporation area, improve the traffic system, increase cleanliness and make digital facilities accessible.
After the spectacular victory of the BJP in the civic elections, tremendous enthusiasm was being seen among the party workers and supporters.
