The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted early morning raids in Dabwali on Wednesday, investigating links between the gangster-terror network involving Amritpal Singh, alias Raju, and most-wanted terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla. The raids took place in Dhaliwal Nagar and Lohgarh village, where residents were questioned about their connections to the suspects.

In Dhaliwal Nagar, the NIA team visited the house of one Balraj, a municipal employee, and interrogated him for 20 minutes regarding his association with Raju and Arsh Dalla. Balraj said he had family ties with Raju's father and occasionally visited their house to collect fodder. He denied any knowledge of Arsh Dalla. After a brief questioning session, the team left.

In Lohgarh, the NIA team raided Raju’s house, a known criminal currently incarcerated in Bathinda jail. Raju has been questioned multiple times in connection with the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and his links to the Lawrence Gang. Azad Singh, Raju’s brother, confirmed the raid and mentioned that he and Raju have minimal communication despite being siblings.

According to the sources, this investigation is part of the NIA's broader efforts to dismantle the gangster-terror nexus. With Raju already under custody, the focus is now on uncovering his connections and Arsh Dalla's network.
