Doctors were seen attending to patients, with no visible impact of the strike here. To assess the situation, Civil Surgeon Dr Rakesh Sehal also inspected the OPDs.

Dr Sehal said all doctors have been on duty and none had applied for leave on Monday.

“However, in view of the strike call, backup arrangements were made with doctors from the National Health Mission (NHM), Ayush and medical colleges. Since no doctor was on leave, there was no requirement to use the backup services,” he said.
