Chandigarh, August 14

CM Manohar Lal Khattar has approved 100 per cent exemption in property tax for charitable educational institutions, charitable hospitals and schools for children with special needs.

He has also given nod to waiver of power bills, including surcharge, for April, May and June for all religious places and a one-time 50 per cent rebate in property tax for residential property in ‘lal dora’ of villages under municipal bodies, whose owners have to clear arrears by October 31. — TNS
