The Indian National Students Organisation (INSO) has refuted the allegations levelled by a student of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) of being ragged, attacked and compelled to join the organisation.

State INSO president Pradeep Deswal said the allegations were false and levelled with an objective to defame the organisation.

He claimed that Ravinder, who had alleged physical assault and being threatened with a pistol, possessed the pistol. He showed some hostel clippings to substantiate his claim.
