Chandigarh, April 20

The State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) registered two probes in February against a gazetted officer (GO) and three non-gazetted officers (NGOs) of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

Meanwhile, 15 inquiries were finalised by the Bureau and final reports had been sent to the Vigilance Department. Besides, further probe in two inquiries had been finalised by the Bureau.

An official spokesperson said out of the 15 inquiries completed during the month, in four probes, criminal case against four GOs, seven NGOs and seven private persons had been recommended. In two cases, the bureau had recommended departmental action against 2 NGOs. In two enquiries, criminal cases had been found registered by the police.
