Officials told to resolve problems of applicants at Samadhan Shivir

Deputy Commissioner Capt Manoj Kumar said every effort should be made to resolve the problems of every applicant coming to the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ on the spot.

Presiding over the Samadhan Shivir organised at the district secretariat in Jagadhri on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner gave those directions to the officials of various departments.

He heard the grievances of the people, who came to the Samadhan Shivir and directed the officials concerned for their immediate solution.

He said as per the instructions of the Haryana Government, for the purpose of quick resolution of problems of the common man, Samadhan Shivir was being organised in Yamunanagar at the district level from 10 am to 12 noon on every working day.

He further said for the redressal of complaints related to gram panchayats, Samadhan Shivir was being organised at the subdivisional level.

He added that for the solution of complaints related to the Municipal Corporation, Samadhan Shivir was being organised at the Municipal Corporation offices in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri on every working day from 10 am to 12 noon.

He said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also monitoring the Samadhan Shivir being organised in the districts through videoconferencing, so that people could get maximum benefit from the shivir.

“In the shivir, officials of different departments are working to solve the problems of the people coming to the shivir on a priority basis,” said Kumar.

He appealed to the people of the district to come to the shivir and put forward their problems and take advantage of it by getting quick solutions.

On Tuesday, in the Samadhan Shivir, a total of 13 complaints were received and the Deputy Commissioner gave instructions to the officials present in the shivir to solve those complaints.

On the occasion, Superintendent of Police Rajiv Deswal, Jagadhri SDM Sonu Ram, CEO Zila Parishad Virendra Singh Dhull, City Magistrate Piyush Gupta, DRO Vikas Singh, DIPR Dr Manoj Kumar, DDPO Narendra Singh and other officials were present.
