Rohtak, July 17

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had come to Mahendragarh to address a sammelan of Backward Classes on Tuesday.

Former minister and BJP state spokesman Krishan Murti Hooda, while interacting with mediapersons, not only listed what the BJP had done in the state in the past 10 years but also questioned Congress leaders about nepotism, land acquisition and recruitment for government jobs during their government.

“Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda are trying to mislead the people in the name of ‘Haryana Mange Hisaab’ while the reality is that people know their intention behind this false propaganda ahead of the Assembly polls and they have instead started seeking answers from Congress leaders over misgovernance during their government in the state,” alleged Krishan Murti.

He asserted that nepotism, corruption in government jobs and acquisition of costly land of farmers at nominal rates in the name of development had been on the top during the previous Congress regime. Farmers had reached the verge of devastation as the then Congress government did nothing for their welfare, he alleged.

Shah had addressed a sammelan of backward classes in Mahendragarh yesterday and instructed the BJP leaders/ workers to go to each gram panchayat to counter the Congress’ campaign against the BJP.

Highlighting the works undertaken by the BJP government in the past decade, Krishan Murti claimed the party had provided over 1.25 lakh jobs, constructed 12 national highways and connected with them in each district and provided Ayushman cards to poor people for free medical treatment, he said.
