One caught in drugs case

Ambala: The police have arrested Gurvinder Singh alias Gussa of Naggal, near here, for drug smuggling. The arrest was made on the confessional statement of Jagjit Singh. The accused was sent to 14-day judicial remand by a local court. TNS

Four arrested for assault

The police have arrested Babloo, Rajinder Kumar, Amrish and Vinod of Ambala in a case of assault. Nand Lal had reported that the accused assaulted and intimidated him. A local court ordered the release of the accused on bail. TNS
