One dead, 4 injured in tractor-truck collision

Jhajjar, March 15

A labourer was killed and four others injured in a collision between tractor-trailer and truck on Jhajjar-Sampla Road near Girawar village here on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaaz (21) of Mujjafarnagar (UP), while the injured are Noor Hasan, Aash Mohammad, Shakeer and Noor Mohammad. They have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, where their condition is stated to be critical.

The mishap took place when the tractor-trailer loaded with bricks was on its way back to a brick kiln in Girawar village from Delhi. As the tractor-trailer reached near the village, the truck coming from the opposite side hit it, leaving Imtiyaaz dead on the spot and four other injured.

After informing the police, passersby rushed the injured to the Jhajjar Civil Hospital.
