One held with illegal weapon in Palwal

The police have arrested a youth on a charge of possession of an unlicensed fire arm.

An official said the accused, identified as Rohit, was arrested on the Palwal-Nuh road on Saturday. He said as the accused could not produce any valid document regarding the countrymade revolver possessed by him, the cops had registered a case under the Arms Act and launched a probe into the case.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
