The Haryana Police launched an aggressive state-wide campaign against crime and drug trafficking under ‘Operation Hotspot Domination’, executing a massive crackdown.

Conducted on December 7, this special drive sent shockwaves through the criminal network. Police teams across the state raided 768 identified “hotspots” locations infamous for criminal activities. The day-long operation, running from morning till evening, resulted not only in the arrest of numerous criminals but also in the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics and illegal weapons.

During the combing operation, 112 offenders were arrested in a single day. Acting swiftly against those involved in illegal gambling, betting and drug trafficking, the police registered 81 new cases, including seven under the Arms Act. Additionally, 17 hardened and violent criminals, who had long evaded capture, were finally arrested. The police reported that during the crackdown, seven cases under the Arms Act were registered and eight accused were arrested. In total, the Haryana Police arrested 137 offenders in one day. During raids, the police recovered four country-made pistols, four local guns and two live cartridges. The police recovered 65 beer bottles, over 350 bottles of illicit liquor, 126 litres of illegal liquor, 96 litres of lahan & 1.44 kg of cannabis.
